This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to deliver mental health services from your own home. You will be working with an experienced clinical team through telehealth platforms, ensuring that therapy sessions maintain a high level of professionalism and compassionate care. • Develop and maintain comprehensive, confidential patient records that align with established standards of practice, alongside federal and state regulations.
• Conduct thorough assessments of students' mental health needs, delivering individualized counseling and therapy sessions that address a variety of health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and substance abuse.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide training sessions and outreach programs addressing mental health issues, creating a more informed community.
• Implement and lead wellness initiatives such as mental health outreach events that promote the importance of mental health and preventive care.
• Provide immediate crisis counseling and interventions for students in distress, ensuring effective support during mental health emergencies.
• Assist faculty and administration in responding to student support referrals using the Maxient system, ensuring timely updates and records management.

Your primary focus will be on supporting students within a collegiate context, ensuring they receive the mental health support necessary for academic success and personal growth. You will engage with young adults facing a variety of challenges, including transitional stressors, academic pressures, and life-stage-related mental health issues. Your skills will provide vital support that encourages retention, engagement, and overall mental health stability.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
• Active state licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent is mandatory; candidates with associate licenses will not be considered.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage a varied caseload.
• Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical counseling practices.

• Experience working with geriatric populations is desirable but not essential.
• Prior experience in a collegiate or educational setting is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-stress situations and crisis interventions.

• Competitive salary range of $50,000 - $122,000 annually based on experience (full-time).
