Job description

Vermont State University seeks applicaitons for a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor position in the School of Business and Professional Studies. This position will be based on the Castleton campus. The new faculty member will be expected to teach a variety of business courses, including but not limited to Management, Marketing and Finance.
In addition to teaching, faculty at VTSU are expected to participate in and contribute to university committees, scholarship and professional development, student advising, service to the university community, development of curriculum, and educational facilities as needed, and other duties related to teaching effectiveness, scholarship and service to the university.
The successful candidate will have earned an MBA or related field, combiined with at least three years of significant experience and should have previous teaching experience at the undergraduate level. Candidates wit experience teaching in a variety of modalities (in-person, face-to-face-plus, asynchronous online) are encouraged to apply.
