Job Summary:
Critical Project Services is a company specializing in data center solutions, and they are seeking an Assistant Program Manager to enhance integration and execution across projects. This role will involve driving alignment among various teams, maintaining project documentation, and supporting PMO governance to ensure efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Drive alignment across project-level operating rhythms and PMO forums (weekly reviews, project reviews, executive forums)
โ€ข Establish and standardize agendas, templates, and input expectations
โ€ข Ensure forums are efficient, focused on priorities, and tied to business outcomes
โ€ข Facilitate discussions as needed to support clarity and progress
โ€ข Support execution of structured project-level forums across the lifecycle (LOI, Directive, Contract, Execution)
โ€ข Drive timely, complete inputs from all functions
โ€ข Identify gaps in risks, issues, and progress reporting and resolve misalignment ahead of leadership review
โ€ข Ensure discussions are focused on priorities, tradeoffs, and next step
โ€ข Own and maintain the Project Directive Register as a single source of truth
โ€ข Integrate cross-functional inputs (cost, schedule, scope, risk) into cohesive, aligned directives
โ€ข Partner with functions to validate inputs and ensure readiness for leadership review
โ€ข Structure directives to clearly communicate intent, risks, and execution approach
โ€ข Track approvals, maintain version control, and ensure alignment across revisions

โ€ข Maintain visibility of key actions, decisions, and risks across projects

โ€ข Provide visibility into status, risks, and escalation needs
โ€ข Develop clear, leadership-ready materials (decks, one-pagers, summaries)

โ€ข Maintain consistency in messaging and templates across PMO communications
โ€ข Support development and continuous improvement of PMO governance, tools, and processes
โ€ข Establish and maintain consistent templates and workflows across projects
โ€ข Provide hands-on support during periods of growth, transition, or increased demand
โ€ข Serve as flexible PMO support across priorities as business needs evolve
โ€ข Monitor effectiveness of PMO coordination and execution workflows
โ€ข Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements

Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Experience in program management, project coordination, program support, or similar role
