GENERAL FUNCTION:

Assists Senior Investment Advisors (SIAs) and Portfolio Managers (PMs) with money management activities for client accounts. Supports the implementation of investment decisions within established investment policy guidelines, prepares portfolio reviews, analyses, and investment reports for existing and prospective clients, and collaborates with internal partners to ensure accurate account administration. Assists SIAs and PMs in identifying, monitoring, and resolving compliance-related matters to help ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and client investment guidelines.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists SIAs and PMs in the development of satisfied clients and new sources of asset management revenue through frequent contact.

  • Prepares investment reviews, portfolio analyses, proposals, and other presentation materials for use in client and prospective client meetings.

  • Provides support to SIAs and PMs in servicing larger and more complex client relationships.

  • Serves as a subject matter resource on IMG systems, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

  • Works closely with SIAs, PMs, and the Portfolio Implementation Team to support the implementation of investment programs and strategies in accordance with client objectives and established investment policy guidelines.

  • Assists SIAs and PMs in maintaining client accounts in accordance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and investment guidelines. Proactively partners with SIAs and PMs to identify, monitor, and resolve compliance-related items.

KNOWLEDGEAND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

  • 0-2 years investment experience

  • Working towards a MBA or Financial designation considered a plus

  • Proficient in excel
