The Department of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science, Associate in Science, and Career Certificate in nursing programs. The Bachelor of Science program is asynchronous, and the Associate in Science and Career Certificate programs are face-to-face. Adjunct instructors provide instruction, assess student learning, participate in program evaluation, and maintain College and department standards. This position reports to the Director of Nursing.

Minimum Qualifications: The Bachelor of Science in Nursing requires a Master of Science in Nursing degree from an institution that holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College. The Associate in Science and Career Certificate programs require a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an institution that holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College. Nursing adjunct faculty require a current, active, unencumbered Florida Registered Nurse license, successful results of a criminal background check, successful results of a urine drug screen, and successful completion of clinical onboarding as required by the assigned clinical facility. Instructors must be able to use the technology required for the assigned course(s).

Salary Range: Adjunct Faculty shall be paid on an hourly basis according to degree level as follows:

Bachelor's Degree or less: $33.00
Master's Degree: $36.00
Doctorate: $39.00

NOTE: This is an open applicant pool. Positions are filled by the department on an as-needed basis.
