Job Title: Adjunct Faculty
Location: North Campus - RWJ School of Nursing

Pay Range: $65.55 - $65.55 per hour
Pay Transparency:The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job Overview: The RWJBarnabas Health School of Nursing and Union College conduct a Cooperative Program which grants students a Diploma in Nursing from RWJBarnabas Health School of Nursing and an Associate in Science Degree from Union College. The School of Nursing is fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Nursing Education, Inc. and the New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
Scheduling: This role will support Friday Behavioral Health Clinicals.
Qualifications:
  • A New Jersey RN License is required.
  • An MA or MS in Nursing is required; a Doctorate preferred.
  • Two (2) years of patient care experience is required.
  • One (1) year experience in Nursing Education preferred.
  • Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) or Certified Nurse Educator Clinical (CNE cl) preferred.
  • National certification in nursing specialty preferred.

Essential Functions: Responsibilities include clinical and classroom teaching, test and curriculum development, faculty committee support, and student advisement. Continuing education and development to attain or maintain nurse educator competencies are expected. Serves as a role model for professional nursing and adheres to the Faculty Code of Conduct.
