POSITION

The Department of Computer Science at CSU Fullerton invites applications for the position of Teaching Associates pool. 

We welcome applications from current CSUF graduate students in the Computer Science department.

This is a pool of teaching associates for the department to draw on as necessary.

ASSIGNMENTS ARE TEMPORARY AND OFTEN MADE JUST PRIOR TO THE START OF THE ACADEMIC TERM. APPLICANTS MAY BE OFFERED COURSE ASSIGNMENTS ON VERY SHORT NOTICE. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience in Computer Science
  • Must be a currently enrolled graduate students in the Department of Computer Science with a GPA of 3.20 or better
  • Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preference will be given to those with significant experience working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment

COMPENSATION

All Teaching Associate appointments are made under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the CSU system and the United Auto Workers.   
Classification Range: $3,245 to $7,598 per month
Anticipated hiring range depending on qualifications, not to exceed $5,200
The full-time monthly base salaries indicated above are prorated to the time base assigned.
