Job description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Participate in all aspects of implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades and security of F&B application software, installation of equipment that is ancillary to or to support important application software. You will report to the Senior Manager POS and Pricebook.

 Primary Tasks:

1.       Collaborate with end-users to determine needs while fielding incoming change requests as assigned to resolve ancillary application software issues, and, under guidance, important application software.   

2.       Gather and document requirements to develop automated solutions for the assigned application software systems while participating in the evaluation of latest technologies as they relate to applications software and help demonstrate their applicability to the enterprise.

3.       Coordinate and communicate with Managers, Suppliers, Regional Merchandising Managers and operations in resolving pricing issues, item authorization and item discontinuation.

4.       Review internal documentation about the software applications and interfaces assigned and acquire and maintain any vendor developed documentation relevant to assigned application software.

5.       Prepare and perform tests for new applications software and changes to existing software; participate in the certification of the accuracy and capability of the software to meet our needs before implementation; meet project goals, providing accurate data to lead item level receiving and scanning systems.

6.       Perform other tasks as may be assigned.

Requirements:

            Associates or technical degree in computer science or 2 years directly related experience

            Completed training or studied the concepts of assisting users in defining our needs

            Completed training in the use of specific application software suite of products that will be supported

            Work independently and set priorities

            Meet tight deadlines

            Working knowledge of Agilysys and Aloha

            Two (2) years' experience in software support
