Summary:

The Logistics Analyst II will support the Force Projection Directorate (FPD) for US Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA). The Contractor shall provide logistics service support in medical acquisition, supply chain and logistics activities across the full spectrum of military health care worldwide and its operational forces during peacetime and wartime missions. 


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • As needed, the Contractor shall provide support to FPD related to Medical Logistics Support Team (MLST) and COSIS missions
  • Provide support to FPD related to Medical Logistics Support Team (MLST) missions. COSIS missions will require multiple CONUS and OCONUS trips throughout the year. Normally around 30 days per each mission trip
  • Shall participate in USAMMA administrative meetings, disseminate associated information and guidance to Division/PMO personnel
  • OCONUS and CONUS travel mandatory. Will be a rotating schedule with multiple trips per year
  • Prepare documents IAW Army Regulation 25-50, Preparing and Managing Correspondence to include preparing Department of the Army memorandums, letters, executive summaries, Information Papers briefings, meeting minutes, and staffing of other DoD correspondence
  • The Contractor shall prepare, review, and staff correspondence and other documentation and publications consistent with established policies and procedures
  • The Contractor shall review and edit Division correspondence for changes in spelling, grammar, punctuation, word usage and correct format style for the intended audience IAW USAMMA policy and procedures
  • The Contractor shall be capable of using Microsoft Office Suite, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as Microsoft Outlook and MS TEAMS to effectively communicate via email with other staff; use the Outlook and MS TEAMS calendar

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Shall become familiar with and understand the DoD 5000 and the associated acquisition procedures
  • MLST and COSIS knowledge needed. Experience with fielding's
  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently on moderately complex tasks while contributing to team efforts
  • Familiarity with inventory management and cost-saving strategies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, and process improvement methodologies
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must possess or have the ability to successfully pass a secret clearance background investigation
  • All personnel must maintain deployable status under the Continental United States Replacement Center (CRC) to support mission requirements and ensure readiness for deployment as needed, in support of the Medical Logistics Support Team (MLST)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in a related field
  • MLST and or fielding and COSIS experience
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus
