 Accounting Assistant
 Rome, GA
Wise Staffing Group is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to support a growing manufacturing operation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on in a fast-paced environment while supporting day-to-day accounting functions and ensuring accuracy across financial processes.
This position will assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable, including processing invoices, posting payments, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies. Responsibilities also include supporting month-end and year-end close, reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts, and assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, and audit preparation.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ERP systems and Excel, along with the ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and support overall financial performance. Additional duties may include working with inventory transactions, tracking costs, and supporting compliance with accounting standards and internal processes.
Candidates should have previous accounting experience in a corporate or manufacturing environment, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
