J’accompagne actuellement un client du secteur de la mode dans le recrutement d’un(e) comptable principal(e). Relevant du chef de la direction financière, cette personne jouera un rôle clé dans la gestion des activités comptables et la production de l'information financière de l'entreprise.


Le poste est notamment responsable des clôtures mensuelles et annuelles, de la comptabilité générale, des conciliations de bilan, de la préparation des états financiers, de la comptabilité des stocks, du coût des marchandises vendues (CMV), des déclarations fiscales, du processus budgétaire, des prévisions financières ainsi que du soutien aux audits.


La personne supervisera également les activités liées aux comptes fournisseurs et aux comptes clients et contribuera à l'amélioration continue des processus comptables, des systèmes financiers et des contrôles internes.


Profil recherché


• Baccalauréat en comptabilité, en finance ou dans un domaine connexe

• Titre CPA, un atout

• Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience en comptabilité, idéalement dans le commerce de détail ou les biens de consommation

• Solide maîtrise des principes comptables et de l’information financière

• Expérience en comptabilité des inventaires et avec des systèmes de point de vente

Senior Accountant


I’m supporting a client in the fashion industry in their search for a Senior Accountant to support the CFO and play a key role in accounting operations and financial reporting.


This role is focused on month-end and year-end close, general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statements, inventory accounting, COGS, tax filings, budgeting, forecasting, and audit support.


The Senior Accountant will also supervise AP and AR resources and contribute to improving accounting processes, systems, and internal controls.


What we’re looking for


·     Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

·     CPA designation a Plus

·     5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or consumer goods industry

·     Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

·     Experience with inventory accounting and retail POS systems
