This degree provides foundational knowledge in accounting principles, financial reporting, and basic business practices. Many graduates use it as a stepping stone for further education, such as pursuing a bachelor's degree, or to gain work experience in the accounting field. The skills learned are valuable for a wide range of organizations, including businesses, non-profits, and government agencies.

What types of entry-level positions are typically available to candidates with an associate's degree in accounting?
