Job description

Position Summary:
Associated Spring is hiring a motivated accounting professional to support key financial, inventory, and operational accounting functions. This role is offered through a staffing partner for the first 90 days, with permanent employment consideration based on job performance, attendance, and overall fit.
This is a strong opportunity for candidates who want to demonstrate their capabilities, contribute to a high-performing team, and earn long-term employment through results.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintain general ledger accounts, journal entries, and month-end close schedules with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Research and resolve customer, vendor, and account discrepancies in coordination with finance and Shared Services teams.
  • Perform inventory balancing and reconciliation to support accurate operational and financial reporting.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and related reconciliations.
  • Process, review, and code accounts payable invoices according to company standards.
  • Support fixed asset accounting, including depreciation schedules, capital project tracking, and cycle counts.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting procedures.
  • Prepare financial schedules, reports, and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements.
  • Participate in additional accounting projects and operational support as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, inventory reconciliation, accounts payable, or general ledger support.
  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
