Job description

Registered Nurse (RN)

Sans Souci Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Care Management:

    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

    • Monitor and manage patient progress, addressing changes in condition and implementing appropriate interventions.

    • Ensure that all patients receive individualized care based on their needs and preferences.

  2. Staff Supervision and Coordination:

    • Supervise and support nursing staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

    • Assign duties and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and coverage.

    • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

  3. Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain high standards of care and identify areas for improvement.

    • Address and resolve patient and family concerns, ensuring satisfaction and effective communication.

  4. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

    • Prepare and submit reports on patient care, staff performance, and any incidents or concerns to facility management.

  5. Emergency Response:

    • Respond to medical emergencies promptly and efficiently, coordinating with emergency response teams as necessary.

    • Provide leadership during crisis situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and staff.

  6. Interdisciplinary Collaboration:

    • Work closely with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.

    • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to care planning and decision-making processes.

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

  • Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State].

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred. Previous supervisory experience is a plus.

  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to make sound clinical decisions and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.


Salary: Up to $50 an hour
