About the Role

We're looking for an Associate Veterinarian who:

  • Enjoys small animal medicine and surgery
  • Has an interest in growing soft tissue and/or orthopedic surgical skills
  • Values strong client communication

You'll be supported by a skilled technical team and a practice culture that prioritizes both efficiency and quality of care.


Schedule & Emergency Responsibilities

  • 4-day work week
  • Long weekend every 5th week
  • Shared rotation for:
    • After-hours emergency calls
    • Weekend and holiday coverage
    • Urgent care responsibilities

Expectations are equitably distributed across the team to support balance and consistency.

Qualifications

  • DVM or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited program
  • Eligible for Michigan veterinary licensure
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
  • Interest in surgery is a plus
