Job description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their AAHA-accredited small animal practice. The hospital provides comprehensive care for companion animals, delivering services that range from routine wellness for puppies and kittens to advanced dentistry, surgery, and urgent care. In addition to AAHA accreditation, the practice is a Certified Cat Friendly Practice and Fear Free Certified, reflecting a strong commitment to clinical excellence and low-stress patient care. This opportunity is open to veterinarians of all experience levels.

Working Hours / Rota
The position offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 7:00pm, and Saturday from 8:00am to 3:00pm on an every-other-Saturday rotation. After-hours requirements are to be discussed with the practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a diverse small animal caseload, including wellness exams, sick visits, urgent care cases, dentistry, and surgical procedures. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality medical care, performing dental and surgical procedures, managing complex medical cases, and maintaining strong client communication.
