POSTING FOR UNMC EMPLOYEES ONLY
This DEM laboratory is composed of multiple study areas including studies on the contribution of obesity in modulating the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes, alcohol-induced liver disease and/or pancreatic cancer.
The individual will conduct and manage research activities which may include experimental design, execution, data analysis and interpretation.
Responsible for assisting with developing protocols and regulatory documents in collaboration with the principal investigator.
Develops, implements, and maintains laboratory manual and standard operating procedures. Ensures consistency in methods and execution, data management and documentation across all studies and projects in the laboratory.
In selected research projects, the incumbent will assume complete responsibility including experimental design, appropriate literature review, conduct of the experimental procedures, collection and analysis of all data and publication or presentation of the results, often as an author or a co-author.
