Job description

Job Description & Skill Requirement:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer with specialization in medical devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UX guidelines and standards applicable to healthcare technology. You will be responsible for designing intuitive and compliant user interfaces for medical applications and devices, ensuring safety, accessibility, and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design user interfaces for medical devices and applications with a focus on User Experience.
• Translate user needs and clinical workflows into intuitive UI/UX designs and POC's
• Apply UX standards such as IEC 62366 and FDA Human Factors guidelines.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs using tools like Figma and Sketch.
• Conduct User testing and iterate designs based on feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, clinicians, and regulatory experts.
• Document design & decisions, intended design vs actual design.
Good understanding of DLS, Creating GUI designs based on existing DLS, Creating low fidelity, High fidelity screens and clickable prototypes
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human Factors, Interaction Design or related field from a reputed institution.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in the medical device domain.
• Strong knowledge of usability guidelines and standards (e.g., IEC 62366, FDA Human Factors guidance).
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a regulated environment and understand compliance requirements.
Qualification:
• Bachelors degree in Design
• Masters Degree in Design.
• UX design
