Epitec is seeking a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer to support an innovative advanced design team in Dearborn, MI. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced UX professional to help shape future product concepts, services, and customer experiences by transforming research insights into innovative digital and physical experience solutions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in ambiguous, early-stage design environments and creating compelling concepts, prototypes, and user experiences that influence future products and services.
Job Details
Location: Dearborn, MI
Hybrid Schedule (4 Days Onsite Per Week)
Short-Term Contract (Approximately 12 Weeks)
Pay: $50-57 per hour
Regular work hours (example 8-4, 9-5)

Responsibilities
Transform customer insights, research findings, and business objectives into innovative product and experience concepts
Create user journeys, user flows, wireframes, information architecture, and interaction designs
Develop interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and validate ideas
Collaborate with researchers, industrial designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to shape future experiences
Facilitate workshops, co-creation sessions, concept reviews, and feedback discussions
Refine concepts and prototypes based on stakeholder and user feedback
Design holistic experiences that connect physical products and digital touchpoints
Contribute to design documentation and experience requirements
Present concepts and design strategies to leadership and project teams
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required
7+ years of UX, Product Design, Experience Design, Service Design, or related experience preferred
Strong expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with user flows, wireframing, information architecture, interaction design, and prototyping
Portfolio demonstrating concept development and UX design work is required
Experience working on innovation, advanced design, or future-state product concepts
Ability to work independently within ambiguous and evolving project environments
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience designing experiences that connect physical and digital products is highly desired
Automotive, mobility, consumer technology, or product innovation experience is a plus
