Job description

Job Summary:
PSR Associates is a consulting and talent solutions firm that connects qualified IT professionals with great opportunities. They are seeking a Software Developer with strong experience in enterprise application development and modern backend technologies, responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software solutions in an enterprise environment.
Responsibilities:
• Follow SDLC processes to design, develop, test, debug, and document software applications
• Translate functional requirements into technical design specifications
• Review functional and design documents and provide technical feedback
• Develop high-quality, scalable backend services and APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to ensure consistency and quality
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews
• Develop and maintain system and operational documentation
• Support deployment, monitoring, and production stability activities
• Work within Agile development environments and team delivery cycles
Qualifications:
Required:
• 7–10+ years of software development experience
• Strong experience with Java 17 and Spring Boot
• Experience with databases (Oracle, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Strong understanding of Kafka and event-driven systems
• Experience working with AWS cloud environments
• Experience with observability tools such as Splunk
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Experience working in enterprise SDLC environments
Preferred:
• Experience with AI-assisted software development tools
• Experience in large enterprise or distributed system environments
• Exposure to modern microservices architecture
• Experience with performance tuning and scalability improvements
