Domestic and Family Law Associate Attorney

Leesburg, VA

Client a growing Northern Virginia and Maryland-based law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney for our Domestic and Family Law practice area.

We seek team members who appreciate and can thrive in a faith-driven environment with a desire to contribute to a team that integrates faith and law in practical ways.

This exciting legal opportunity also offers a great office and team environment with attorneys ready to provide mentorship and support. Associates with client are full-time, salaried employees with significant benefits, including: (1) health insurance options; (2) paid sick and vacation leave; (3) 401K retirement with 4% matching program; (4) a cash balance program and profit sharing.

Manage all aspects of domestic and family law cases, including client consultations, pleadings, discovery, negotiations, and litigation.

Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.

Draft motions, petitions, agreements, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.

Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior associates and support staff.

Contribute to firm growth through client relationship management and participation in community or professional outreach.

Maintain compliance with ethical standards and firm policies.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a family law Attorney.

VA Bar License

Legal writing, analysis, and drafting skills

Ability and willingness to travel to different courts in Northern Virginia

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a family law Attorney.

Jury trial and court experience

Prior judicial clerkship experience
