Power Services Group, Inc. (PSG) is a leading independent service provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) solutions for steam and gas turbines and generators. We support a diverse, blue-chip customer base across the power generation industry, including coal, nuclear, and natural gas markets, as well as diversified industrial sectors such as pulp and paper, food and beverage, and petrochemical industries.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Treasury Associate to join our finance team and support critical treasury operations across our organization.

Role Overview

The Treasury Associate will support daily treasury operations, liquidity management, and banking activities while partnering with finance teams across multiple locations. This position reports directly to the Assistant Treasurer and plays a key role in ensuring efficient cash management, payment processing, and financial reporting support.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in treasury, public accounting, or related finance/accounting roles and a strong understanding of cash operations and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and determine daily cash positions and assist with short-term liquidity management, including debt drawdowns and repayments
  • Execute wire transfers, ACH payments, and other banking transactions while supporting the company’s transition away from physical checks
  • Partner with FP&A to develop, maintain, and improve rolling cash flow forecasts
  • Assist with investing excess cash in accordance with corporate investment policies and guidelines
  • Support banking administration activities and treasury-related projects
  • Collaborate with finance teams across multiple locations to ensure accurate and timely financial operations

Required QualificationsEducation

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in treasury, public accounting, finance, accounting, or a related role preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Foundational understanding of treasury management principles and cash operations
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across a multi-location organization
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and support sound business decisions
