Description
Responsible for the safe, accurate and damage free outbound and returns deliveries to Lipari Foods customer locations. This position is responsible for over 100 drivers, multiple supervisory and administrative positions within the department.
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for customer service and driving issues by coaching, monitoring and motivating.
• Involved with strategic efficiency planning and tactical application and performance.
• Work directly with transportation system.
• Responsible for report writing and financial analysis.
• Travel to depots to enciage associates in remote locations.
Position Requirements
• At least 5 years of experience in Transportation Management and Warehouse Management.
• Knowledge of roadnet, Xata and Syntelics is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office is required for this position.
Education Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Business Logistics or Transportation, or a related field.
