Job description

Our PakMail location at 1101 Thorpe Lane #105 in San Marcos is hiring a full-time Retail & Customer Service Associate.
 

Looking for a job where the day flies by and you actually enjoy your coworkers? We’re looking for a reliable, high-energy Customer Service & Sales Associate to join us at our Thorpe Lane location.
 

What you’ll be doing: You’ll be the face of our store—helping neighbors pack and ship packages, getting passport photos ready, making copies, sending faxes, managing mail for our mailbox customers, helping customers select and purchase retail and gift items, and even becoming a Notary Public. We'll train you!. It’s a busy spot, so you’ll be multitasking, lifting some heavy boxes, and keeping the store looking sharp.
 

Who we’re looking for someone who is:
 

  • A People Person: You’re friendly, professional, and love helping solve problems.
  • A Fast Learner: You can jump into new software and follow processes without a hitch.
  • Reliable: You show up ready to work and take pride in what you do.
  • Available: Monday thru Friday and some Saturdays. 40+ hours/week all year long.
  • Fluent in English and communicates clearly

Experience: While we offer full training, if you have experience in any of the following areas, that would be even better:

  • Customer Service
  • Retail Sales
  • Inventory Management
  • Photoshop
  • Microsoft Ward


If you know how to use the following equipment:

  • Copier
  • Fax
  • Camera
  • Heat Press

Education:
Must have a Highschool Diploma. Some college preferred.
 

The "Plus" List: If you speak Spanish or know your way around Canva/Photoshop, are already Notary Public, we definitely want to talk to you.

People come to our store to print, pack, ship, get documents notarized, make copies, send faxes, get business cards designed and printed, order custom prints, banners, mugs and more. We close the gap and fullfil the need for specialized services such as packing and shipping of delicate items.
We also help customers renew their passport or apply for a new one.
Here, everyone needs to become a Notary Public.
We are a very diverse, dynamic and unique place to work. Not only that we have all the major shipping carriers under one roof, we also offer physical and virtual mailboxes. Our unique gift shop is like no other and people come just to shop some times and other titme to shop then ship.
We well train you to do everything. However, experience helps!
We have been in business for almost 9 years and most of those years we have been recognized for the local newspaper as the Best of Hays County for Shipping, Printing, Mailboxes, Passport and Notary Services.
