Responsibilities:

The qualified candidate will provide expert and second-tier technical support and analysis to field engineers and technicians. Provide technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement of technical products, programs, and systems.

  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Testing, training, and fielding support to customers regarding technical aspects of designated systems and services
    • Providing expertise for the resolution of technical problems, troubleshooting products, and modifying products to customer requirements
    • Maintaining network stability through advanced troubleshooting, timely resolution of incidents, and proactive maintenance to provide the maximum availability and optimal Mean Time to Repair
    • Provide training to customers, requiring frequent travel and onsite work at the customer site
    • Partner with developers and engineers to reduce reoccurring incidents and will answer questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization and usage of designated systems and services

Work Environment:

  • Location: On-Site - 8300 Professional Place, Landover, MD
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 50% (CONUS and OCONUS)
  • Working Hours: Willingness to work outside of normal working hours

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience/Education:
    • Bachelor's degree and no years of relevant experience or;
    • Master's degree and no years of relevant experience or;
    • High School Diploma/GED and four plus (4+) years of relevant experience
  • Active Security Clearance: TS/SCI
  • Possess knowledge of designated systems

Basic Compensation: $76,700 - $115,000 (This range is for Maryland only)

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.


Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
