Job Overview
As a Quality Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our electric vehicle (EV) platform. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, performing testing, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing technical support to ensure all products and services meet established quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to uphold and continuously improve production and service processes. This role is instrumental in supporting customer satisfaction and ensuring adherence to both internal quality objectives and external regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do:
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards and technical specifications.
  • Identify, document, and report non-conformances; support root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate quality issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of quality inspections, test data, and service-related activities in accordance with internal documentation protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering, production, and customer support teams to resolve quality concerns and drive continuous improvement in product and process performance.
  • Perform product servicing and repairs, ensuring that reworked or refurbished items meet all quality and functional requirements prior to customer delivery.
  • Conduct on-site visits to customer locations, as required, to troubleshoot technical issues, perform repairs, and validate product performance in the field.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and refinement of quality control procedures and initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and product reliability.
  • Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and functionality of inspection tools, test equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
  • Comply with all relevant safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Who You Are:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality control, service technician, or related role.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
  • Familiarity with measuring and testing equipment (calipers, multimeters, micrometers, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Google Suite and Jira.
