The Technical Director is a key leadership role responsible for advancing Braman's technical capabilities and ensuring consistency, quality, and innovation across the organization.

What You'll Do

As Braman's Technical Director, you will provide strategic technical leadership across the organization, ensuring our teams have the expertise, standards, and support needed to deliver exceptional pest management solutions.

You will:

  • Lead Braman's technical strategy by establishing standards, protocols, and best practices that drive consistent, science-based service delivery.
  • Develop technical talent by leading training initiatives, mentoring our Training Supervisor, and strengthening technical capabilities throughout the organization.
  • Ensure technical excellence and compliance by guiding regulatory requirements, quality standards, safety practices, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) initiatives.
  • Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies, products, equipment, and industry advancements that improve customer outcomes and operational effectiveness.
  • Partner across the business with Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Quality, and Executive Leadership to provide technical expertise and solve complex challenges.
  • Support customer and business development initiatives through technical consultation, presentations, proposals, industry events, media opportunities, and key customer relationships.
  • Represent Braman as a technical leader through industry partnerships, professional organizations, and community engagement.

What You Bring

We are looking for a collaborative technical leader who combines industry expertise with the ability to influence, mentor, and inspire others.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Entomology, Biology, Environmental Science, Agriculture, Public Health, or a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in the pest management industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical leadership, training, quality assurance, operations, or regulatory functions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in residential and commercial pest management.
  • Strong knowledge of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles and pesticide regulations.
  • Experience supporting regulated industries such as food processing, healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, education, or institutional environments preferred.
  • Current pesticide applicator license appropriate for company operations, or the ability to obtain required licensing throughout Braman's service area.
  • Industry certifications such as Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE), Board Certified Entomologist (BCE), or equivalent credentials preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

Work Environment amp; Travel

Candidates should be comfortable conducting inspections, evaluating service environments, participating in field evaluations, and using required personal protective equipment as needed.

Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required based on customer needs, training initiatives, industry events, or urgent technical situations.
