Job Description

The Tax Accountant is responsible for preparation of federal and state income tax returns, estimates and extensions. She/he will also be responsible for preparation of account analyses, including support of deferred tax balances and cash flow, preparation of the annual Intra-Group Service fee allocations and supporting federal, state and foreign income tax audits. 

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of federal and state tax compliance, including quarterly estimates, extensions and returns.  Compile and maintain all necessary supporting documentation.
  • Assist and support income tax accounting under FAS 109.  Including preparation of account analysis and support of deferred tax balances.
  • Income tax audit support.  This includes analysis of inquiries and compilation/ preparation of documentation to be provided to tax authorities.
  • Preparation of annual Intra-Group Service Fee allocations for Tiffany and Company.
  • Assist in performing research of income related tax issues with respect to their impact on Company operations
Qualifications
  • B/S in Accounting
  • 1+ years experience in income tax OR 2+ years experience in accounting
  • Self -Starter
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong analytical and problem solving skills are required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of OneSource Income Tax, OneSource Tax Provision, JDE and HFM preferred.
