Boutique plaintiff's firm has an immediate opening for an experienced litigation attorney passionate about standing up for tenants' rights. The firm represents residential tenants in wrongful and constructive eviction lawsuits, making a real difference by fighting for the underdog every day.

Responsibilities:
As an Associate Attorney, you'll:
  • Manage your own caseload from start to finish.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings.
  • Handle law and motion work.
  • Participate in trial preparation and second-chair trials, with the potential to take on first-chair opportunities as you grow.

The ideal candidate is dynamic, intellectually curious, and highly motivated, with strong
litigation experience and the ability to manage their own caseload. Specific
qualifications include:
  • California Bar Membership: In good standing.
  • Education: J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in California, including depositions, law and motion work, and case management.
  • Skills: Strong verbal, analytical, and legal writing skills, along with exceptional attention to detail.

Bonus Points For:
  • Proficiency in Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese.
  • Experience with landlord/tenant law or plaintiff-side litigation.
  • Demonstrated interest in public interest law.
