Hybrid Schedule: At Helen of Troy, we embrace a flexible hybrid work model designed to support collaboration and productivity. For roles eligible for hybrid work, our standard schedule includes in-office collaboration from Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Any updates to this model will be communicated in advance. Please note that hybrid eligibility and schedules may vary based on business needs and manager expectations.

What you will be doing:

As a Systems Engineer, you will ensure the stability, integrity, security, and efficient operation of the server, storage, and cloud environment by leveraging best practices, continuous innovation, and new emerging technologies.

Monitoring and managing all installed systems and infrastructure

  • Review daily monitoring logs and reports

  • Plan and execute repair on all environment alerts

  • Routinely test software for bugs, redundancies, and security issues

  • Document system performance statistics and reports

  • Meet company define SLA requirements

  • Manage all hardware/virtual environments

  • Manage Hardware inventory

  • Maintain overall system health

  • Manage key back-end Windows based servers in a VMware/vCenter/Hyper-V environment.

  • Manage enterprise storage arrays

  • Establish, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.

  • Design and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems.

  • I.T. Infrastructure support case management

  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies

  • Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure system-related products and services.

  • Collaborate with network staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.

  • Maintain Azure active directory

  • Manage O365 hybrid Environment

  • Managing SAAS Solutions

Skills needed to be successful in this role:

  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent multitasking skills, time management and efficiency

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or at least 4 years work experience with Microsoft based server technology.

  • Proven Technical experience with:

    • Active directory

    • Microsoft exchange

    • Office 365

    • Microsoft Azure

    • Windows server operating systems

    • Group policy

    • Powershell

  • Ability to travel to other offices as needed (including Data Centers and regional locations).

  • Must have reliable transportation to support travel and, where applicable, a valid driver's license in accordance with regional requirements.

  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
