Job description

ASRC Federal Mission Solutions is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems.  

We are seeking highly motivated Systems Engineers to support the continued development and sustainment of the U.S. Navy's Aegis Weapons System in Moorestown, NJ.  As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to design, integrate/test and conduct data analysis to assess system performance of the Combat System. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field and 0-2 years of related experience
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance, U.S. Citizenship is required
  • This position requires the successful applicant to obtain and maintain the required security clearance or other authorization(s) within the necessary timeframe required by applicable contract(s)
  • Understanding of an Agile development environment 
  • Experience performing system and data analysis
  • Functional knowledge of Combat Systems
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: architecture, requirements development, trade studies, algorithm design, or modeling and simulation
  • Proficiency in C++, Java, MATLAB or Python

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent
  • Large Scale Combat Systems design and development experience including algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling and simulation
  • Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics and problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience in the defense industry or related field
  • Systems Engineering background
