Location: San Diego, CA at our G2 Ops office.
Work Setting: In person, some remote opportunity, and/or flexible working hours, not a fully remote position.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000 plus comprehensive benefits package.
Years of Industry Experience: 0-2+ years of relevant experience.
Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Where you make an impact: For this opportunity, we are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Associate Model-Based Systems Engineer. This exciting position will apply model-based systems engineering methodology to requirements definition and implementation, executable architecture development, system modeling, and engineering analysis for Navy and DoD mission systems. This role is well suited for an early-career systems engineer who wants to build strong MBSE fundamentals while contributing to real customer outcomes in a mission-focused defense environment.
What does this mean to you? We are seeking expertise in MBSE such as:
  • Foundational knowledge of model-based systems engineering principles, systems architecture, and requirements management
  • Ability to support requirements definition, decomposition, traceability, and implementation in an engineering environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain system models, executable architectures, and physical and logical diagrams
  • Exposure to UML, SysML, MagicDraw, Cameo, or similar modeling tools preferred but not required
  • Ability to analyze system designs, model behavior, and support engineering trade-space discussions
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
