Position Summary:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

The Information Systems Analyst position is all about making sure our bank's critical applications are interconnected, automated, and streamlined. The Analyst will strive to keep our systems connected and efficient, automate processes to save time and reduce errors, enhance performance and user experience, and provide timely and effective technical support for application-related issues as well as:

  • Database Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of databases to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Custom Report Generation: Review, generate, and troubleshoot custom reports from the core processing application Horizon 360 BI and other ancillary systems.
  • Application Integration: Collaborate with project teams to integrate applications with the core processing systems Horizon XE and Horizon 360 BI.
  • System Integration: Ensure all critical applications are interconnected and functioning cohesively.
  • Process Automation: Develop and implement automated processes to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Workflow Streamlining: Optimize workflows to improve performance and user experience.
  • Technical Support: Provide prompt and effective technical support for application-related issues.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to ensure alignment and support for business objectives Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in application support or a similar role.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving software application issues.
  • Familiarity with financial services applications with a focus on lending administration and origin.
  • Experience with the FIS banking core and imaging system as well as Finastra / Abrigo products.
  • Familiarity with domain controllers, OUs, and user accounts, implementing and troubleshooting Group Policies, configuring AD FS, AD CS, and backup/recovery processes.
  • Understanding core cloud concepts and Azure services. Deploying and managing VMs, storage, and networking in Azure. Implementing Azure AD for identity management and security measures.
  • Familiarity with IBM Cognos Business Analytics.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques.
  • Knowledge of software application environments.
  • Experience with application monitoring tools and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of IT policies and security standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
  • Industry-relevant certifications (MCSE, ITIL, Network +, Security +) are preferred
