Job Summary

The System Administrator (Associate/Intermediate) is responsible for supporting, maintaining, securing, and troubleshooting enterprise IT systems and Windows server environments. The role assists with system administration, Active Directory management, user account administration, system monitoring, security compliance, patch management, backups, vulnerability remediation, and technical support to ensure reliable and secure IT operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, patch, and troubleshoot Windows servers, workstations, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, user accounts, and system-related issues.
  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), and enterprise services.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
  • Perform routine system maintenance, backups, recovery, and patch management.
  • Create, modify, and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Support vulnerability remediation and system hardening activities.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with networking, engineering, and cybersecurity teams.
  • Support audits, inspections, and cybersecurity compliance activities.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for technical issues.
  • Assist with enterprise infrastructure support and system improvements.
Required QualificationsAssociate Level
  • U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret Clearance.
  • IAT Level II Certification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in systems administration, IT support, networking, or cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity, vulnerability management, and system hardening.
  • Microsoft 365 Teamwork Administrator Associate certification (or obtain within 6 months).
Intermediate Level
  • U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret Clearance.
  • IAT Level II Certification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience supporting enterprise IT environments.
  • Experience administering Windows Server environments and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Experience with system architecture, documentation, capacity planning, testing, and validation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Preferred Qualifications
