The role includes stocking shelves, rotating products, assisting customers, and ensuring that all items meet store quality standards. Grocery Associates support daily operations by keeping the sales floor well-presented and providing friendly, efficient service.Key ResponsibilitiesStocking shelves and displays: restock products, rotate inventory (FIFO), and ensure accurate labeling.Maintaining department cleanliness: keep aisles, shelves, and backroom areas clean and organized.Assisting customers: help shoppers locate products and answer basic questions.Checking product quality: remove damaged, expired, or low-quality items.Receiving and organizing deliveries: unload merchandise and prepare it for stocking.Following safety and sanitation guidelines: comply with store policies and food-handling standards.Supporting team operations: collaborate with coworkers to maintain smooth department workflow.Skills & StrengthsCustomer serviceAttention to detailTime managementTeamworkBasic inventory handlingAbility to lift 50 lbs.
