Description:

We are looking for new team members in our Strategy department to help create and execute results-driven online advertising campaigns for our progressive political, non-profit and responsible corporate clients. These people will help our political clients win elections and advance progressive causes and help our other clients increase brand awareness, drive e-commerce sales and organization growth, and engage and retain current members.


This is a temporary position through November 30, 2026 and includes outplacement assistance. Cycle-hire employees who are interested will have the opportunity to apply for a limited number of permanent positions at the conclusion of this role.


Candidates looking to have a large professional impact on the 2026 elections should apply for this position. Candidates who DO NOT want to work on the 2026 elections, should apply for our other position focused on our responsible corporate, non-profit, and non-electoral advocacy clients.


Specific Responsibilities
  • Build, optimize, and run online ads across various different ad platforms (Facebook, Google, TTD, etc.).
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion and brand lift tests.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on campaign and website performance to uncover actionable insights that will increase efficiency and performance of our digital marketing efforts.
  • Monitor conversion points and optimize user funnels.
  • Collaborate with other vendor partners.
  • Communicate with clients about success and challenges in the campaigns you're running.
  • Manage media budgets in excess of $1MM.
  • Write copy and work with our designers and developers to produce online ad collateral and website assets.
  • Create media plans for direct response and persuasion ad buying
  • Meticulously Q/A creative, ad builds, and reports
  • Be accountable to client goals
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
  • Be a positive member of our collaborative and supportive team.
Requirements:

We'll train you on the specific skills you need to succeed in this field, so the only hard requirements for our Associate Strategist position are being interested in the subject, a quick-learner, and willing to work hard in a fast-paced environment. Traits we look for include:
