Position overview

The Store Leader is responsible for overall store performance, leading a team of associates to deliver the Range USA experience. This role oversees sales execution both personal and store, team development, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance, while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

We’re looking for a leader who excels in:

  • Sales & Business Acumen – Drive revenue both personal and store, KPIs, and profitability
  • Customer Experience Excellence – leads thru example and coaching to excellence
  • People Development – Coaches, trains, and builds high-performing teams
  • Operational Discipline – Maintains strong execution by validation of scheduling, inventory, and store standards
  • Safety & Compliance Leadership – Ensures strict adherence to firearm safety, ATF, OSHA, and company policies

Sales & Performance Management:

  • Drive personal and store revenue, memberships, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Monitor individual and team sales performance; coach to improve results
  • Utilize reporting and financial insights to guide business decisions
  • Promote a strong sales culture focused on customer needs and education

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Oversee the recruiting, training, and development of a high-performing team of store associates and leaders
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management
  • Ensure clear roles, expectations, and accountability across the team

Operations & Execution:

  • Customer Service-Creates a welcoming, service-driven culture that delivers a best-in-class experience
  • Oversee scheduling to align labor with business demand
  • Validate store standards including merchandising, pricing, and cleanliness
  • Validate accuracy in inventory management and reporting when ASL not present

Safety & Compliance:

  • Validate full compliance with ATF regulations and internal policies
  • Validation of OSHA, EPA, and local regulatory compliance, including lead safety. Enforce all firearm safety protocols and range safety standards

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Partner with District Leaders and Support Center teams to drive store performance
  • Identify and resolve operational or customer experience challenges

Desired skills & experience

  • 3+ years of retail management experience required
  • Leadership of 10 or more associates in a retail environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
  • Proven ability to drive sales and operational performance
  • Experience with POS systems, inventory tools, and Microsoft Office
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
