Job Summary: The Inspection Technician will primarily perform inspections and part measurements in our calibration lab in Greenville, SC. This associate will program and run the CMM and support in training other associates in doing so.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains constant and clear communication with customers and fellow associates

  • Must be able to perform inspections unsupervised

  • Consistently maintain good work attendance and productive work ethic


Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience programming, operating, and troubleshooting a portable CMM with laser scanning technology required

  • Experience in Polyworks and Zone3 a plus

  • Ability to read blueprints and comprehensive understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

  • Ability to perform CAD based 3D inspections and nominal comparisons

  • Ability to multitask and work in high pressure situations under deadlines

  • 5+ years’ Automotive or Aerospace industry experience a plus

  • Understanding of statistics including capability studies and Gage R&R

  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills

  • A commitment to world class customer service

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Must be organized and capable of working independently

Physical and Mental Requirements:
