Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our growing behavioral health team. In this fully remote, telehealth-based role, you will provide clinical oversight and supervision to licensed and pre-licensed counselors while carrying a small client caseload. You will oversee and support up to 14 associates, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, consistency, and integrity of the clinical services we provide to Washington State clients.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Supervision

  • Provide individual and group clinical supervision to licensed and pre-licensed clinicians (LMHCs, LICSWs, LMFTs, and associates)
  • Review and co-sign clinical documentation as required by state regulations and Bridging Care policy
  • Monitor supervisee caseloads for clinical quality, ethical practice, and compliance with HIPAA and Washington State regulations
  • Support clinician professional development and clinical skill-building
  • Conduct regular supervisory meetings via telehealth platforms

Client Care

  • Maintain a small clinical caseload providing direct telehealth counseling for mental health, SUD, and co-occurring disorders
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Collaborate with care coordinators and Health Home staff to support integrated, whole-person care

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure clinical services meet Washington State Department of Health and behavioral health regulatory standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and outcome monitoring
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Uphold client rights, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times

  • Model a compassionate, client-centered approach in all clinical and supervisory interactions
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine clinical workflows and best practices
  • Contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and growth-oriented team culture

Qualifications

Required

  • Active, unrestricted Washington State independent clinical license (LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT)
  • Washington State Approved Supervisor status (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience in behavioral health
  • Experience providing clinical supervision to pre-licensed or licensed clinicians
  • Strong working knowledge of HIPAA, Washington State behavioral health regulations, and ethical standards
  • Experience working with mental health, SUD, and/or co-occurring disorders
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
  • Reliable internet connection and a private, confidential workspace for remote work

Preferred

  • Experience working with Medicaid-funded clients or Managed Care Organizations (MCOs)
  • Familiarity with Community Health Plan of Washington (CHPW) or similar MCO systems
  • Training or certification in evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR, MI, etc.)
  • Experience in Health Home or care coordination settings
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
