Job Purpose:

The drafter needed to create and update 2D and 3D piece parts and subassembly drawings. 

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Creating  2D drawings according to the 3D models created by engineer.
  • Help create 3D models under engineer guide.
  • Creating and formatting drawing sets used for production and QA.
  • Communicating with production departments to determine requirements.
  • Communicating with engineers in order to complete designs.
  • Other task assigned by engineer.

Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of 3D mechanical software, preferably Pro/Engineer or Solidworks.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills .
  • Good attuide and team worker
  • At least one year of intense CAD usage. Familiarity with dimensioning, scaling, and typical CAD standards preferable.
  • Requires knowledge of  Windows operating system, Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, Excel, Word and computer-aided drafting applications
  • Detail-oriented with an eye towards automation.
  • Organized and able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Works well in a fast paced work environment
  • Can work independently and can take make good decisions based on given information.
  • Experience creating a complete drawing sets.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; Associates Degree with detail drawing experience will be considered
  • Can work on flexible time.
