Job description

Authorium is transforming the way agencies manage complex, document-centric workflows. Our unified platform integrates essential administrative functions-from Budgeting to Procurement to Contracting-streamlining government operations. By consolidating data from documents, emails, and spreadsheets into a unified data layer, we drive insights and visibility across the organization. We partner with public-sector leaders to modernize processes around compliance, policy, and scale, and we believe in the power of collaboration and data to drive positive change.
As an Associate Solutions Engineer (ASE), you are a delivery owner. You will be responsible for key customer delivery and engagement motions - participating in discovery, articulating design and configuring client ready solutions, and maintaining clear documentation of system decisions. You are responsible for the accuracy of your tasks, the clarity of your communication, and meeting project milestones.

This role is a blend of system collaborative consulting, and both individual and team-based contributions. As a member of the Solutions team, you will collaborate with all other business units to continuously improve our product, our engagement motions, and the quality of our delivery. You will embody our C.A.R.E. values (Collaborate, Accountable, Resilient, Establish Excellence) as you grow into a subject matter expert.

What You'll Do

Own Delivery Execution

  • Support the configuration of templates, workflows, and rules based on established design patterns.
  • Assist in translating customer requirements into functional system setups.
  • Maintain a clear pulse on your assigned tasks, surfacing blockers or questions to your lead early.

Documentation & Logic Mapping

  • Draft design documentation, workflow logic diagrams, and configuration notes.
  • Ensure all "as-built" documentation is accurate and reflects the final state of the customer environment.
  • Help prepare handoff materials for Quality Assurance to meet the demanding needs of our customers.

Customer Support & Shadowing

  • Co-lead discovery sessions and working meetings to capture requirements and action items.
  • Increasingly take on facilitation for specific, defined segments of the implementation journey.
  • Prepare presentation materials and platform demos for customer-facing meetings.

Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting

  • Execute disciplined QA practices and UAT scripts to validate that configurations meet requirements.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting for configuration issues, documenting reproduction steps for more complex bugs.
  • Assist in data validation and clean-up to ensure seamless platform launches.

Internal Growth & Partnership

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to understand new features and platform capabilities, based on your customers needs.
  • Leverage internal playbooks and templates to ensure consistency across customer engagements.
  • Actively participate in peer reviews to learn and refine best practices with a goal of improving technical accuracy.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical or analytical role (Implementation, Support, or Junior Analyst) preferably within B2B SaaS.
  • Strong logical aptitude: Ability to understand conditional logic (if/then/else) and structured data.
  • High attention to detail: Proven ability to manage documentation and follow complex processes without skipping steps.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to explain technical steps clearly to both internal teammates and external users.
  • Adaptability: Comfort in fast-paced technical environments with continuous product delivery and ongoing learning.
  • Must be based in (or planning to relocate to) Washington, DC - this role is hybrid with Monday-Thursday in-office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting public-sector (or similar high-compliance environments) customers and familiarity with procurement, contracting, grants, budgeting, or vendor workflows.
  • Exposure to integration-adjacent delivery work (e.g., data flows, sequencing considerations, APIs, or ETL concepts).
  • Demonstrated ability to assist in delivery across multiple stakeholders and surface risks proactively.
  • Experience contributing to or improving delivery standards, templates, or playbooks.
How You'll Work
  • Reliability: You own your assigned tasks. When you say something will be done, it's done-accurately and on time.
  • Curiosity: You don't just "click buttons." You seek to understand the customer's business goal behind every configuration task.
  • Quality First: You double-check your work before asking for a review. You take pride in clean documentation and bug-free setups.
  • Collaborative Spirit: You are proactive about seeking feedback and sharing your own learnings with the team to help improve shared assets.

Benefits

  • Salary: $75,000-$98,000
  • 100% employer-funded medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with Profit Sharing Plan
  • Flexible PTO
  • $500 home office stipend
  • Commuter stipend
