What You'll Be Doing (We don't love the bullet points, but we love the work!)
In this key Software Engineer role, you'll get to support IaC DevOps activities and dive deep into developing and maintaining complex and diverse Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions. This position's focus is on automation and efficiency to reduce manual effort and increase the reliability of software builds and deployments.
Required Experience
โ€ข Using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
โ€ข Using Bash/Python to develop scripts to automate provisioning of HPC systems
โ€ข Release management best practices including versioning, automation, risk management, and continuous improvement
โ€ข Managing software builds and releases with one or more programming languages
โ€ข CI/CD principles, methodologies, and best practices
โ€ข Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, or CircleCI
โ€ข IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools including Ansible
โ€ข Dev/Sec/Ops processes and related FOSS toolchains
โ€ข Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Containerd
โ€ข Experience with Git Source Control System
