Software Test Engineers are responsible for developing and maintaining the test solutions to improve product testability while increasing yield throughout the test process. Test engineers will participate in an agile environment, develop and integrate software solutions to validate and tune products, provide training to technicians in the art of troubleshooting and work to optimize throughput. Responsibilities include working with all engineering disciplines to provide guidance for transitioning new hardware to Production and continued support in Sustainment. Software test engineers will support hardware test verification activities to certify software test solutions. Software test engineers will become subject matter expert on the product.

Required Skills and Education
  • BS Degree in STEM or AA degree in STEM with +2 years' related experience or equivalent experience, training, and/or certifications.
  • +1 year of relevant testing experience
  • Hardware and Software Integration experience.

  • Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

  • Experience with the entire product life cycle development or parts of it: Requirements review, test plan creation, coding, integration of test SW with test stands, and sell-off to customers.
  • Experience with RF test development for production, employing RF Test instrumentation (Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generators, PNA-X etc.)
  • Experience with RF Measurement techniques and ability to diagnose and resolve to root cause measurement anomalies.
  • Takes initiative and has a closure-oriented nature
  • Experience with SW version control and bug tracking tools
  • Experience in supporting factory production test stands, debug, problem isolation, and resolution.
  • Experience with National Instruments FlexRIO (LabVIEW FPGA/VHDL/Verilog a plus)
  • JTAG/Boundary project development in an ATE solution
  • Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)
  • Git and Tortoise Git
  • Experience with HW debug & troubleshooting.
