Minimum Qualifications * Clearance Requirement: Must currently have and maintain an active Secret level U.S. Government Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required. * At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g., Spring, Guava) and a Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. * Experience in designing enterprise APIs. * Experience in RESTful web services. * Experience in Microservices architecture. * Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms. * Experience with the agile software lifecycle. * Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Git, Nexus, Maven). * Comfortable working on a linux command line. * Has a proven ability to learn quickly and works well both independently as well as in a team setting. * Problem solving skills and ability to review information and compile data appropriately as needed. * DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certification will be required in this position within 60 days of employment. * Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 1-2 days per week at our Greenville, SC office. Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed. Preferred Requirements * Current Clearances: Active Top Secret clearances are a strong plus. * Experience in cloud based technologies (AWS, Azure) * Experience in distributed databases, NoSQL databases, full text-search engines (e.g. Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Solr) * Scripting experience is a huge plus. * Next-Gen Coding Agents: Proven use of AI tools (Claude Code, Gemini) in daily engineering workflows. * Agentic Feature Delivery: Using autonomous agents for multi-file implementation, refactoring, and automated testing. * Prior experience or familiarity with Data Lakes/Warehouses (speificially BDP or JCRS-D) is a plus. * Understanding of AGILE software development methodologies and use of standard software development tool suites.
