Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineer Seniors Global Banking Technologies in Jacksonville, FL to develop and maintain Java applications and APIs, enhance existing systems and integrate new components. Design and develop applications with secure, high volume ensuring compliance with U.S. regulatory requirements such as IRS tax reporting, FDIC, FATCA, FIDM, and other applicable financial regulatory obligations. Execute full-cycle development tasks including coding, testing, debugging, and deployment across multiple environments. Serve in an L3 support role, addressing high-priority production issues and client-reported defects. Building large-scale batch-processing and real-time services using Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and Spring Batch to support secure, high-volume workloads. Collaborating with cross functional teams including development, product, DevOps, and operations to support issue analysis, release, and production rollouts. Debugging complex systems and conduct performance optimization to improve throughput, reduce latency, and ensure high availability for mission-critical enterprise platforms. Applying data structures and algorithms to support high-volume, real-time processing workloads. Conduct root cause analysis using logs, monitoring tools, and data traces using Dynatrace and Splunk. Apply hotfixes, validate solutions in lower environments, and ensure no business disruption. Monitor and manage batch jobs using Batch-UI and the Job Scheduler Framework. Analyze error logs and job statuses to trigger, restart, or skip jobs as needed, ensuring smooth and timely processing of multi-product files. Conduct releases and deployments across multiple integration environments using CI/CD pipelines. Partner with Product Managers and end-users to gather and refine system requirements. Translate business needs into technical specifications and propose scalable solutions. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and mentor team members on FIS tools and methodologies. Collaborate closely with QA teams during testing phases, resolving bugs and ensuring feature stability. Prepare and maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions. Deliver demonstrations of new features and enhancements to internal stakeholders and client implementation teams, ensuring smooth adoption and understanding.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: developing technology solutions for global banking/ U.S. financial institutions, including secure, and high volume transaction systems; designing and developing scalable, reliable software solutions using Java/Python programming languages within distributed-system architectures; building large-scale batch-processing and real-time services using Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and Spring Batch to support secure, high-volume workloads in

financial institution platforms; collaborating with cross functional teams including development, product, DevOps, and operations to support issue analysis, release, and production rollouts for global banking or financial-institution systems; debugging systems and conduct performance optimization to improve throughput, reduce latency, and ensure high availability for mission critical enterprise platforms; applying data structures and algorithms to support high-volume, real-time processing workloads; and leveraging cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, & GCP to design scalable architectures, automate CI/CD pipelines, and ensure resilient, available environments.
