Job description

Responsible for the research, design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of new and existing systems and the creation of new software solutions. You will work internally with other software engineers, program managers, and product owners to deliver quality solutions in the expected time frame, using your extensive experience and judgment. You will be considered a top-level contributor and will be looked upon to raise the bar with solid engineering fundamentals and leadership. You will also support your fellow engineers by mentoring and coaching them.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

You will work internally with other software engineers, program managers, and product owners to deliver quality solutions in the expected time frame, using your extensive experience and judgment. You will be considered a top-level contributor and will be looked upon to raise the bar with solid engineering fundamentals and leadership. You will also support your fellow engineers by mentoring and coaching them.

Objectives:
  • Plan and accomplish development goals using your professional judgment and industry experience.
  • Maintain a professional attitude during all stages of development; excel as a team member and strive to maximize personal, team, and company performance.
  • Guide the team to use modern programming and design methods, documentation, testing, and thorough code reviews to maintain high software quality.

  • Fluency with C/C++ and unmanaged memory.
  • Advanced understanding of algorithms, data structures, design paradigms, and standard software development tools.
  • Offer solid communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
  • Observe deadlines; endeavors to exceed expectations.
  • Conduct task analysis, and work estimations; identify dependencies and risks.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in software development or related field
  • 7+ years of software development experience
