Critical Job Knowledge and Core Competencies/ Skills:
* Strong knowledge and coding experience in Python/ Java to automate test cases for post-trade back office and trade flow.
* Strong working knowledge of SQL with the ability to write complex SQL queries.
* Strong hands-on experience in expanding frameworks and creating new automation scenarios programmatically using Python or Java.
* 5–7 years of experience in application development/ automation framework development using Python or Java.
* 2+ years of working knowledge and ability to develop test automation scripts for post-trade Fixed Income Capital Markets data lineage.
* Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks.
* Strong knowledge in Core Java/ Python or equivalent technologies, and automation testing tools for backend, frontend, and web service API testing.
* 5+ years of professional experience working with datasets, advanced scripting, and SQL.
* Prior experience working as a QE/ SDET in Agile/ Scrum teams, delivering features frequently.
* Ability to understand complex data flows between various internal and external applications.
* Demonstrated ability to identify and report risks and issues.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Continual discussions with Development Teams to review planned stories, vet requirements for new features, estimate automation efforts, and participate in testing activities as needed.
* Input test plans and scenarios into Xray and convert scenarios into automated tests.
* Perform impact assessments of business requirements and changes, including requirements validation.
* Maintain applicable test artifacts, including test plans, test cases, test data, and automation scripts, based on business requirements or change requests.
* Perform code pull and review activities, support future CI/ CD implementation, execution, and reporting.
Business Knowledge:
* Strong working knowledge of Fixed Income and Derivatives Back Office Testing.
* Capital Markets experience.
