Job Description

We are looking for a talented, detail-oriented and enthusiastic Software Development Engineer who is passionate about quality and is enthusiastic about new digital products. The person chosen for this position will have the opportunity to contribute their creative ideas and energy to ย Instant Video. Duties include research, design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of new and existing systems and the creation of software services and tools to drive the software development process towards higher quality.ย 
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 2 years relevant work experience, or 4+ years relevant work experienceย 
Expert level Java, C# or C/C++ย 
Experience building robust, scalable software and servicesย 
Experience with agile methodologiesย 
Attention to detail, and the ability to pick up new tools and technologies quicklyย Skills and Certificationsย [note: bold skills and certification are required]
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software deve
Experience with distributed computing and enterprise-wide systems
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requ
Experience developing in a Linux environment
Experience with web services and databases, preferably Oracle and SQL
Familiarity with video technology and/or embedded software a plus
