Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services (BGS), is seeking a Software Test Engineer in Maryland Heights, MO. and/or Hazelwood, MO. In this role you will test software for the F-15 Mission Planning systems.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Execute and maintain test procedures and test cases for new and existing products
  • Performs test in accordance with approved test plan/procedure and applicable policies
  • Report and manage defects
  • Regression test software fixes for new and existing products
  • Participate in Requirements and Functional Specifications reviews of new features and verify these requirements are reflected in the test specifications
  • Document, troubleshoot and follow up on issues found during testing
  • Actively work with other members of the team to constantly improve the process, tools and effectiveness of the team
  • Assist Development with replicating and debugging problems

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years experience developing and maintaining software test documentation
  • 3+ years experience with test and validate to ensure software meets operational and functional requirements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 5+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 9+ years of directly related work experience OR 13+ years of related, relevant experience
  • Experience with test or system integration
  • Experience with software configuration management tools such as Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps
  • Experience writing and analyzing test procedures and software requirements
  • Automated test experience
  • Understanding of Mission Planning Software usage
  • Experience with OFP (Operational Flight Program) SIL (System Integration Lab) testing
