Quality Assurance/Quality Control Associate
Position Summary
Rizzo Corporation is seeking a full-time Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Associate. This individual is responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance and Quality Control program across Rizzo's construction projects. This position helps ensure that all work is completed in accordance with project specifications, contract requirements, company standards, applicable codes, and client expectations. The QA/QC Associate works closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and field personnel to identify quality issues, document inspections, and promote continuous improvement throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct routine field inspections to verify compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Perform quality control inspections for materials and workmanship.
• Document inspections, deficiencies, corrective actions, and project quality records.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, submittals, and applicable codes.
• Maintain organized QA/QC documentation and inspection logs.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate quality concerns to the Rizzo team.
• Ensure compliance with Rizzo's quality management procedures and client-specific quality requirements.
Qualifications
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of construction, inspection, or quality control experience.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using ProjectSight, Bluebeam, or similar construction software.
• Quality management certifications are a plus, especially NETTCP's Quality Assurance Technologist Certification.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
